What is EMSCULPT NEO®?

EMSCULPT NEO® uses the dual power of radiofrequency (RF) and High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM)+ energy to promote muscle contractions and disrupt fat cells, simultaneously sculpting and contouring the treated areas.

EMSCULPT NEO® treats areas like the abdomen, buttocks, love handles, thighs, and arms to reduce fat and tighten muscle at the same time. The result acts like an intense workout for the target muscles, and at the same time, its energy disrupts fat cells so the body removes them from the area.

How Does EMSCULPT NEO® Work?

The electromagnetic energy from the EMSCULPT NEO® penetrates to the layers of muscle under the skin and causes them to contract. Muscle contractions cause the muscle to become worked to the point of fatigue, which results in a repair process that builds muscle and increases strength.

At the same time, this energy combined with the RF energy reaches the layers of fat cells and disrupts them, causing them to release triglycerides and allowing the body to clear away the damaged cells, leaving the area with less fat and more toned muscle.

An applicator will be placed on the skin over the targeted area, and this transmits the energy into your skin without harming it, only affecting the deeper layers of muscle and fat. While people report that the procedure is a 1 out of 10 on the pain scale, they feel an intense workout of the area, while others only feel warmth and just relax comfortably during the procedure.

It can take two to four weeks to start seeing results as the body builds muscle, and removes the disrupted fat cells and the muscles continue their rebuilding and strengthening. Full cumulative results for fat are one month post series, and for fat the full results are seen at 90 days post series.

Good candidates should have a BMI no higher than 30 or be within 30 pounds of their target weight. They must also have reasonable expectations and understand that maintaining their results will require that they continue to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.
