Am I A Good Candidate For NanoLaserPeel™?

Good candidates for NanoLaserPeel™ are patients who are searching for a solution for mild wrinkles, scars, keratosis, sun damage, pigment irregularities, texture, and pore size. Most areas of the face and body can be treated.

What is a Typical Treatment Like?

The NanoLaserPeel™ beam is scanned over a treatment area to remove a very thin layer of the skin. Separating the top layer removes some of the damaged tissue that can give skin a tired, aged, and dull appearance. As the skin heals, new cells grow leading to a fresher, more refined, and radiant look.

Most people can tolerate treatment with no anesthetic at all, as it causes little discomfort because it does not penetrate too deeply into the tissue. Depending on the size of the area being treated, the procedure usually lasts only 5-10 minutes. The NanoLaserPeel™ is also a great preparatory and adjunctive treatment to other lasers such as Secret™ RF Microneedling or ProFractional™ laser.

What Results Will I See?*

Because only the outer layer of skin is treated, most patients notice an obvious improvement in tone, texture, and color evenness once the skin heals in approximately 2-3 days.

Depending on the amount of correction needed in the skin, many people may have three treatments in a series, spaced 2-4 weeks apart for best results. If there is more correction needed, we recommend the MicroLaserPeel^®, or for very advanced correction, the Contour TRL™.

Is There Any Downtime?*

Immediately after the treatment, the skin will have a “frosty” appearance, that with hydration will turn red, resembling a mild sunburn. There will also be some mild swelling initially that will dissipate as the skin peels away over the course of a few days.

What is the difference between the NanoLaserPeel™ and other peels?

The NanoLaserPeel™ is a lighter laser peel than the MicroLaserPeel^®. The NanoLaserPeel™ goes 4-15 microns deep, with 1-3 days of social downtime. The MicroLaserPeel^® goes 15-50 microns deep, and has anywhere from 3-6 days social downtime, depending on the depth performed.

Unlike peels and microdermabrasion, the heat component of the laser creates a beneficial domino effect deeper in the tissue, not able to be achieved otherwise. Special messenger cells help accelerate the skin’s own renewal process leading to more substantial results in just a few treatments.
